How is he being allowed to play?! The guy was convicted for assaulting his girlfriend and threatening to kill her.  He's appealed but it still remains at this point the judge found him guilty.  He's appealed for a jury trial which will be in November.

How is Ray Rice, who was found NOT guilty, regardless of the video kicked out but Greg hasn't been indefinitely suspended?  ESPN says Greg is expected to play on Sunday.

At the minimum he should be suspended until after the trial in November.  ESPN is saying the Panthers/NFL's hands are tied on the situation, how?!  He was found guilty in court.  Am I missing something here?  Can the Panthers not deactivate him for this?  Do you think they should?  In my opinion yes they should.

Has anyone heard the story behind the situation?  If it's true what happened was horrible.  He damn near killed her according to what ESPN just showed and that was from her court testimony.  He dragged her out of the bathtub by her hair, had her on the ground and put both his hands around his throat telling her he was going to kill her.

Per the testimony he then threw her onto a couch with assault rifles telling her they're loaded.  This part of the story was odd to me.

Then HE calls 911 and reports she is assaulting him.  He didn't sound like he was in distress in the 911 call and I've heard many 911 calls over the last 4 years of my job.  I'm not saying he wasn't telling the truth but it didn't sound well on his part in my opinion.  He was arrested when the police showed up and as I said convicted of both charges in relation to the assault.

The court testimony ESPN showed of the woman was pretty chilling.  How he's being allowed to play while being convicted of that doesn't click with me.
