I still think free agency is a fine place to find a back-up safety. Even the waiver wire works for that. Look at Winston Guy. He's a starter right now because we don't have a top tier FS - but he'd make a fine back-up and he was a waiver wire acquisition last year.

This is why I used to ignore all in-season draft scouting threads. How do you know if any tight ends are likely to fall into the middle of the first or second round after only 2 games? How do you know after only one game if we are likely to pick in the top 15?
