Quote:People pay a lot of money for those seats.  If they want to sit down and watch the game, that's their prerogative.  It's also their prerogative to complain about people who stand and obstruct their view for a majority of the game.  It's rude and inconsiderate of others to think that it's okay to stand the whole game without regard for who is behind you. 

 

I've got elderly fans sitting behind me, and I know the one who pays for their seats has had season tickets from the beginning.  He has a hard time just getting to his seats but he's there every home game, regular or preseason.  Our entire row recognizes that he and his wife are great fans who have been dedicated to this team from the start, and we respect that they can't get up and down for every play in order to see around someone in front of them. 

 

The stadium has standing sections in the NEZ where fans can go and stand all game long if they prefer.  It's really not that difficult to have some respect and consider those around you at games.
