As for processing info quickly?? C'mon man....its not hard to hit your first wide open read (usually some form of a screen or other short pass) , and if he's covered, run for first down.

 

I haven't seen many "NFL throws" that Mariota has had to make.

 

Mariota has questionable accuracy over 15 yards.....kinda like someone else we know....and has nowhere near the football IQ of a Teddy Bridgewater. I can envision Mariota as a guy that tries to win at the next level with his God given athleticism, and he's going to be in for a wake up call, when he finds out that every player at the next level has a lot of God gifted athleticism/ talent, and he can't over- rely on only that anymore...
