The fact that you think there's a wide open receiver says a lot.  I just rewatched this play.  Two seconds after the ball hits his hands, not seeing anyone open for his 3 primary options and getting pressure from the right side he scrambles to the left but gets tripped outside the pocket. 
I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.
