I also thought this was the case, especially after that 20?ish yard TD run that he fumbled away going into the end zone. I was especially perplexed by this as watching the replay showed he covered the ball up with 2 hands to specifically guard from this happening. I assumed he was maybe just needed more arm/grip str since he wasn't a RB in college. Then I heard about his nerve problem in his hand which made it all make sense. However in the offseason Bradley said "With the time off this off-season and a lot of work, it came back for him." I assumed this meant that he wasn't having problems with it and would have a greater impact on the offense. Thinking about it now with the abysmal performance of Gerhart not leading to him getting more time I'm wondering if he had a setback with it.
