Don't bring up Mack?  The Jags went after the best option in free agency and just didn't have deep enough pockets to top anything Cleveland was willing to pay him.  Yeah, we should ignore the fact that they made an aggressive move to address center and failed.

 

They drafted a guy that they expect to be their center long term.  He's starting this weekend.  If they saw a better option out there in free agency, they would have pursued it. 

 

That time has long passed?  We're basically 18 months into a 3 year rebuild.  The expectation this year as expressed by the team was to show improvement and to be more competitive.  We're 2 games into the season.  I know patience isn't something you would EVER subscribe to because that would defeat your usual knee jerk approach to things, but it's a 16 game schedule.  There's a LOT of football left to be played this year, and plenty of opportunity for this front office to meet or even exceed their expectations this year.  You're more than welcome to make yourself look foolish by booing the team, or making a joke of yourself.  Nobody is stopping you from doing so.  Just don't get offended when people point it out.

That is a problem that they didnt see any of those guys as upgrades. It shows mis judge of talent. How much is monroe making? N9 9ne is saying monroe is elite.. even though you were while he was here in defense of gene smith.. but hes sure as hell better than what we have and baltimore is FAR from breaking the bank on him. Thats th8s teams problem.. we will spend on pools and score boards but not upgrades... now look at our oline.. draft8ng monroes replacement becuz we dont want to pay him is a joke when u see our cap situation and our line situation. That is a MASSIVE blackmark on this regime since they failed miserably at replacing him and baltimore did not break the bank for him
