we haven't had hardly any good players on the entire offense over the years... but you have to admit the "receivers aren't getting open" excuse is pretty common.

 

meanwhile, if you watch a QB like Rivers, he will throw a guy open.  DEfenders will be draped all over a receiver in 1 v 1 coverage and he makes the throw.

 

if a nerd was watching all-22 where the QB held the ball on a similar play and got sacked they would say, "look here the tape doesn't lie, nobody is open"
