They most certainly are overstated at times.  He's a pretty average QB not the worst QB of all time.  Look at some evaluations and you have to wonder if people are actually watching the games.  Probably the worst instance is putting Henne to blame for things like how the OL is playing or how the defense is playing.  It's crazy.

 

A very common saying is people put to much credit to a QB when a team wins and to much blame on a QB when a team loses.  We have been losing bad and this saying has been proven out beyond any shadow of a doubt.
