You're right that the colt player might have thought it was still a live play. My gripe is more about the ref either not blowing the play dead more immediately, or blowing his whistle louder, or penalizing the defender. But the total disregard for our QB's health, in a league that goes over the top (IMO) in protecting all non-Jag QB's, was what irked me.
