Look at NE, NO, SD. They have a great qb now. When those guys retire, who's behind them? Those teams will drop off for awhile unless they strike gold on a backup to groom in the meantime. Which NE may have.

Green Bay's plan was to redshirt Rodgers until Favre retired. The ugly way Favre left the team was a result of Rodgers being good enough to become a starter.
