It's conceivably correctable - but without greater speed at LB and faster recognition by the secondary - there will be lots of open receivers and TEs roaming in Jaguar territory.


Obviously - a pass rush like we generated in the first half of the iggles game would help, but the Jags back seven really have to start executing.


I was never a fan of zone D either, and have had an open mind toward this version of it….. until now. It's hard to watch.
Gus touched on that today at his press conference. Something along the lines of the players not trusting their teammates to be in the right position and in turn causing them to be out of position by trying to do it all. It just goes back to being a young team and going thru the growing pains of gaining experience.
