Hurns is the real deal. He wasn't drafted because he didn't time well. Well I think he put that to rest when he outran the Colts secondary for the TD Sunday. He was pulling away from them. He wasn't drafted because he didn't have any attribute that really jumped out at you, but he broke receiving records at Miami. The U. We're not talking Miami of Ohio here, or Rice, or any small college. We're talking a college that has produced some of the best WRs in the league. And he did it on a team that wasn't anywhere near as talented as the Miami of the past few decades. He has good size (would like to see him add a bit more muscle to his frame to get over 200) and he runs great routes. What I like the most about him is, as good as he's been, he is only going to get better. He's what Mike Sims-Walker should have been, had he not had those devastating knee injuries. I remember everyone raving about Sims-Walker after we drafted him and all the talk about how good he was going to be. Hurns has every bit the ability he had. He just has to stay healthy.
