What I read from FBT's awesome OP is that the young players don't have strength in the locker room in terms of how to really be a pro.

 

This is concerning to me.  You'd expect them all to be professionals in their craft, but how many early 20 year old kids really think that way?  

 

Therefore, it would be wise to have veterans on a football team, even if they cost more.  Yes the salary cap is an issue, but if you have a pro that can't cut it, but understands what it means to put in real WORK, then you should keep them.

 

Now I know we all hate Henne...  But perhaps that why they kept him around.

 

As far as the D side...  It seems we're lacking.  If DD is so great at motivation, why isn't he actually on the Jaguar's coaching staff?  

 

I'm just wondering these things aloud.  I'm not trying to stir anything here.  It's just my original thoughts based on what I read from the Original Post.
