Getting more sacks doesn't necessarily mean he's doing a better job rushing the passer.

 

The only one of his sacks I could find a highlight video for was the one against Foles that caused the second fumble, and in that case he'd been completely swallowed by the left tackle until Foles held the ball for more than four seconds and decided to move out of the pocket. At that point Branch can get to him. It was a great thing to see as a fan, but not an example of exceptional play.
