Losing is losing whether it's by 3 points or 30 points. Gus should have had some balls and at least tried to move the ball. We need to dictate what we do instead of letting the other team dictate it. 

 

The coaching staff got scared and reverted back to their shell before half time and never came out of it.  I like Gus, and was happy with the hire, but he has me questioning a lot of things lately.

 

So when teams with this mystical "winning culture" let the clock run out at the half even if they're behind, it's okay?

 

Let's get serious here.  The likelihood of something good happening on that drive was highly unlikely, but there was absolutely the potential for something bad happening by trying to force the ball down the field with less than a minute to go and a rookie QB under center. 

 

You're more than welcome to be outraged that they would perpetuate this "culture" by going with the odds there if it helps keep that anger stoked.  Personally, I think it's wasted energy.  It was the right call in that situation.
