That's their downfall.


Of course the NFL is upper echelon athletes and tweaks in positions can usually be done. (You can't force a square peg into a round hole)


But in college they don't have the luxury of a fully loaded roster and like was said earlier, Lloyd carr's players were totally different than what rich rod needed.


I feel like any moderately intelligent person would realize that it would take 2-3 draft classes to start to see results.


Unfortunately these big time powerhouse programs face so much scrutiny and pressure from boosters, they don't necessarily have the luxury of time.


A lot of the programs out of the lime light seem to be rising to success lately and just have a feel good vibe to them.


They're given the time to blossom.
