Rich Rod: 5-7 (1-7 in conference)

Rich Rod: 7-6 (3-5 in conference

 

Hoke: 11-2 (6-2 in conference)

Hoke: 8-5 (6-2 in conference)

Hoke: 7-6 (3-5 in conference)

 

 

In 2010, you would have been on here laughing at Michigan for taking so long to fire Rich Rod because of the dumpster fire Michigan was in. Hindsight is 20/20. 

 

im not saying this is exactly why but based on the trend you displayed with those stats, it looks like rich rod was getting better every year as his recruits started coming in, then when they fired him, the first year, hoke reaped the rewards of rich rods work.

 

hoke got worse every year when he was doing his own recruiting and running his own system.
