A lot of great QB's we look at today had plenty of INT's thrown during their rookie seasons. Peyton Manning jumps out instantly. Is Blake going to be Peyton? Probably not. But, it's not like it's uncommon for rookie QB's to make PLENTY of mistakes with the football. Just goes witht he territory man. It's growing pains. That term exists for a reason. Luck threw 18 INTs during his rookie season. He's already thrown 6 INT's this season through five games as well.

 

Caldrac I agree with you on that but let me play Devils Advocate for a moment. For every Peyton Manning that threw 27 int his rookie year there is also Ryan Leaf, Cade Mcnown, Jamarcus Russell, Rick Meier, Tim Couch...get it. As Jag Fans we always will compare Blake Bortles to great QB that struggled their 

rookie year. My point is its too early to say he will either be Peyton Manning or David Klingler. I just take a wait an see approach, but I was the idiot Jag fan who believed in Blaine Gabbert too early on.
