Not sure why Jacksonville would be unattractive as a destination for a prospective head coach at this point. They've got the most important rebuild piece (Bortles) and they also have an owner with deep pockets and desire to win.

I like Pete Carmichael Jr. myself, but I'm not sure how much Experience he has with play calling.  But, again, I wouldn't want to say he could do a better job than Bradley either.  

 

I'd be wary of going the route of inexperience again. (anything short of a Belichick/ Bill Walsh genius prodigy type)

 

I'd first rather explore the formula that landed Tom Coughlin here - 

 

meaning hire a head coach candidate who:

 

 

* has successful prior head coaching experience (college or pro)

 

* has successful program building/ rebuild experience
