It was inevitable that Ebola would get here. It's best that we learn everything we can about it.

 

Except that's not how it's spread anywhere at any point. EVERY case of this disease spreading has been from direct contact with West Africa. We can speculate what it might or might not have or will do in the future, but it simply hasn't gone "dormant" and crossed multiple nations at any point. 

 

The disease is here as a DIRECT result of us failing to seal ourselves off from West Africa.
