You're also naive if you think we should not be actively engaged in stopping the spread of Ebola in Africa. I know you're a strict isolationist, but we live in a global economy. That virus has a fertile feeding ground in under developed countries, and even in more modern countries, that are important to our national interest.

Just because it may have ultimately been inevitable that it reached our shores doesn't mean that we shouldn't have taken every precaution we could have to have slowed that result/ lessened the opportunities from it happening.
 
France did the correct thing.
 
We practically laid out the red carpet for ebola to come to the USA....as well as the asinine decision to put our 3000 green soldiers in harms way over there. Its one thing to send some professional medical personnel over there to assist. Sending 3000 of our troops who have very limited experience in this realm was mind boggling at best, and what I said (in the other post) at worst.
