I am surprised that these two threads are up.  I hate being 0-6 as much as anyone.  That being said, this was a complete and utter tear down and rebuild.  How much of a rebuild.  we don't have a FS on the roster.  LITERALLY!  I like Josh evans as a third safety and someone who will be able to play strong safety at a starting level in this league but if he is your starting cenerfielder, something is wrong.  Right now our LEO is a stop gap.  At corner you have a stop gap journeyman and a battle between a third round pick and an undrafted free agent.  Right now we have journeyman battling at will linebacker and an undrafted free agent at OTTO by default.  And this is the unit that has only given up 13 points a game in the last two matchups. 

 

On offense you have the dreaded combination of rookies at QB, WR and Center.  throw in a rookie RG, an undrafted free agent at RT and a guy at LT that has less than 16 starts at the position and you get my drift. 

 

At this point, the goal is to find guys who can be part of the core while we build for the long term through the draft over time.  It sucks now, it always sucks in years 2-4.  But the most important thing about this regime is that the kid looks like he can play.  If the kid can play then its only a matter of time before 370 yards of offense from the QB turns into 24 points instead of 14 with less turnovers and an improving defense continues to improve.  At the end of the year, I expect there to be the sentiment for everyone in the playoff hunt that @@#$^ I don't want to have to play the jaguars.  Now if theres no improvement and we go back to routine blow outs then that's different, but right now the progress is most evident.
