I haven't given up on him. He hasn't done anything to warrant the reigns being turned over to him in the future. He's a 7th round pick who hasn't flashed. I suggest that you hold a player to a standard in which he earns a roster spot, let alone a starting position.

Point blank - he hasn't shown me anything and the train is leaving the station next season. If he turns it around by the end of the year, then I'm still looking for another running back unless he has a spectacular second half to the season; unlikely.
