This team will not be competing for the playoffs next year.  No way - there is a huge gap in both playing experience and leadership.  There will need to be changes to the coaching staff, and some $$$ spent in free agency to upgrade positions to get up to the 8-8 level.  I don't see it.  

 

It's sad because I had high hopes that we would be better this year than last, but the constant losing is wearing the fan base down, the players get discouraged, and the cycle continues.  

 

I'll still continue to watch the Jags, however, I don't even get upset over the losing.  I don't have expectations of going to the playoffs, much less the Super Bowl any time within the next few years.
