I think he has a really, really young team and he can get better along with them.  Caldwell/Khan knew his lack of experience may rear it's ugly head at times.
 
 Answering your question - If he continues to make bad decisions on the sideline as the season continues -  can't scrape out a few wins - and begins to lose the faith of his players - then Caldwell has to at least consider a change.    I don't think any of those things will happen, much less all three.

Nope, I actually don't. To be honest, your definitions are pretty much a qualitative approach that seems fair and logical. I actually subscribe to your approach as well. Even if on Sundays I may be a bit more vocal regarding my disappointments and weaknesses as I see them. I think your point regarding "losing the locker room" is also something to be very aware of as the season goes forward. If the players really begin catching on (which I have a feeling may just happen starting this week) then the team can build some momentum.

But if we hit 0-8, the players that have been here last year may very well lose confidence in the "rah-rah" positivity/competition/get better every day mantras. If that happens, we could be in trouble.

Based on your qualitative points regarding the coaching staff, I would puts a quantitative bench mark of 4 wins as being a sign that the coaches aren't figuring it out and are hanging themselves. But that's just me.

Will I freak out if Bradley is back after another 4-12 season? No. I'll be very concerned but will still be positive come Sunday. All we can do at this moment is evaluate and judge based on what we've seen so far.

There has been some positives, there's no doubt about it. It's just a matter of it translating to wins. The main concern is that the coaches are not experienced/talented enough to figure out how to maximize what we have.

LOL. OK. I don't watch the sqeelers. But from the game they played against us, Big Ben Party Boy has looked very mediocre. The guy has very little to no accuracy. That offense of theirs shouldn't scare anybody.
