Unfortunately, our problems run much deeper than just QB... which was the point all along.  Changing QBs wouldn't change the W/L column.  All eyes were on the QB, but they completely missed what was/was not going on with the rest of the team.  We're still 1-2 OL, 1-2 LB, 1-2 CB, and a running game away.  QB is a HUGE item to check off the list and probably the most important, but there's still more work to do.  The good in that is we've got the most important piece.

 

This division is starved for a legitimate playoff contender.  clots win the division simply by suiting up.  It certainly isn't because they're some playoff powerhouse that's contending for Super Bowls.

 

That isn't who they are.  They are a team that isn't even challenged right now in the division.

 

Contrast our team now with what JDR had... a team without a QB that made the playoffs twice.  Insert Bortles for the Leftwich draft, and good grief what a good run we would probably STILL be on.  It's only now, we've got Bortles and little else... the exact opposite situation.  He's not going to get all the help he needs overnight, nor should that be expected (unfortunately.)
