Can't the 'hot' topic be something positive?

It was a great win in so many categories. Lots of good things to comment about without sending "Bortles is bad" to the top every 45 seconds. Bortles is good.. very good. And so was the Defense! And D.Rob, A.Rob, Telvin, Poz, and on aond on.

Because he was. He leads in INTs thrown in the league, yet didnt start the season. Cant sugar coat everything. Even he admits he played poorly  ( is that sound better than bad?) 

If the D hadnt played lights out and the Browns put up a couple of TDs, we lose. 

Bortles will be good ( hopefully) but for now? He's on the huge learning curve. Some passes were good, some were pretty bad, decision wise.

Bortles gets all the free passes here because of the "possibilities".

He eventually will be the one who has to win the game.

Someone mentioned  we beat the Browns last year too...with Henne.

 

Not trying to bash the kid, just be realistic. The Favre gunslinger comparisons or Mannings first year comparison are so premature. He needs to develop. Plain and simple. The team knew it and said as much. Their plan was not to get him in this early. There will be growing pains, but to call a spade a spade shouldn't upset anyone.
