To all the fans in the stadium wearing bags over their heads...

Quote:Umm He won the starting job in Denver till the new coaches took over. He won the starting job the next year till they traded for PM. Jets didn't even give him a chance. And as for the Pats, he couldn't beat out Mallet, neither would half the Qb's in the league, and easily nobody on the Jags, so they wouldn't be in the league either. Try to at least be honest about him. 1. Tebow was NOT the starter his rookie year until the last two games of the season-long after Denver was out of contention. 2. Tebow was NOT named the starter in his second year until midseason. It's not as if he dominated in training camp and was easily the best QB. 3. The new coach took over in his second year, the same year he had his most extensive playing time. 4. When he became the starter, he went up against a slew of bad teams and was bailed out by his defense many times. His numbers were pedestrian, to say the least. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/pl...boTi00.htm In a pass happy league, he could only complete 46.5% of his passes?!? A guy with his mobility got sacked 33 times?!? 5. Because of his underwhelming performance, the coach who went to the playoffs with Tebow, and the GM, who knows something about the QB position, made it a point to trade him away. It speaks volumes that despite the fact the organization spent a first round pick on him just two years earlier, they couldn't wait to get rid of him. 6. The Jets, who spent a 3rd round pick to acquire him and were desperate for improved QB play, saw him practice and kept him on the bench. 7. If he's not good enough to beat out backups in two different places, why should we get him, again? Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!
