No, I'm with the OP. It doesn't hurt any more. I'm becoming apathetic.
I do have season tickets and I do go to the games. But it's becoming harder and harder to focus on what's happening on the field. My mind wanders. I look at the pretty girls. I look up at the sky and watch a pigeon circling the stadium. It really really sucks. It doesn't hurt like it used to. It's just depressing. Can't criticise the fans, though. I've been to NFL games in other cities with losing teams, New Orleans, Tampa, Baltimore, back in the late 90s. There were about 10,000 fans total that showed up in the Super Dome for a Jaguar game in the late 90s. I wonder about next season, though. Who's going to renew their season tickets after TWO years of this? |
