The fact that these guys went on to have hall of fame careers doesn't change their humble beginnings.

 

I'm not saying Bortles is destined for the hall of fame, but to think he should be written off at this point in his career is being ignorant of history.

 

No doubt.  But I just don't see anyone, except the blatant trolls saying that BB5 is gonna be a bust.  He's a rookie and he needs more time to grow and get better.

 

But he clearly needs to continue to work on his game.  That's something we can all agree on, right?

 

 

Just to say, "yeah, he's making rookie mistakes" is to white wash the fact of what it really means.  He's making mistakes because he NEEDS MORE WORK.  If he doesn't work on his craft, he's not gonna be good.  

 

We need to see him progress over the next few weeks.  These mistakes he's making now are fine, but if they continue, it's something to get concerned about.
