So how do the coaches fix this? Do you bench the guy until after the bye? Do you simplify the play book more? Do you rely on the running game? Maybe play a more up tempo spread style offense? I really wish I had the solution because I want Blake to succeed so bad, this team should not have to worry about the qb position anymore.

 

Blake needs to RELAX out there and take what the defense gives him. He has a running game right now to help him out, he doesn't have to try and do it all.

 

Continue to take the shots down field at times, but play smarter and don't try to force the ball into coverage.

 

And NO, you don't even think about benching him. Let him play through this rough patch.

 

The next several games won't be easy and it will probably get ugly at times, so watch at your own risk.

 

Remember, there are a lot of rookies on offense and they will look like rookies more often than not.
