Shad is slick. He knows long time fans and ticket holders are getting tired of years of nothing but promises. But the attractions bring in new fans, including those from the opposing team.

It gets old waiting for " next year" . This year was " next year". Any signs of playoff hopes? When the D shows up the Offense flounders. Then visa versa. Frustrating. Next year? Any bets we don't sniff the playoffs? Hope I'm wrong, but I wouldn't put bets on it.

Guess its 2017 then.

Jobes patience would be tested. The quest for new, young fans therefore is the priority.

 

Year 3 has always been the year from the minute they were hired and further stated when they insinuated that the QB wouldn't play this year. They put him in because Henne was catastrophic when they thought he would be adequate, and it was more than the franchise could bear after 2 weeks.

 

BB5 has the classic problem all rookies do, the game speed is beyond his ability to process it at times, and when that happens his mechanics flounder. The good thing is that he's made some really athletic plays at some of those times that show he's got the whole package if he can learn to use it all.

 

He also has the disadvantage of playing with other rooks who have the same problems and that, as management originally thought, could hinder his development this year.

 

The best part for us is that he's already good enough to overcome some of these issues at times, he just needs more playing time to put it all together.
