On a basis of cost vs. rewards, it seems to me that a quarantine should be the policy.
How many people would be quarantined? Maybe 300? How many people in the US? Roughly 300 million. Shouldn't we be taking the million to one odds of a quarantine vs. putting 300 million people at risk? Do the pundits really know the risk to a confidence level of a million to one? It's not like those quarantined are being harmed, just inconvenienced. "Why should I give information to you when all you want to do is find something wrong with it?" |
