Who has the best non-conference wins?

When MSU went to Oregon and lost, it seemed like everybody was talking about that game. It was the Game of the Week - two Top 10 teams expected to win their respective conferences.
Then while watching the OSU/PSU game, I saw MSU has one loss and wondered who beat the Spartans because nobody talked about Oregon beating MSU after Arizona beat the Ducks. Does anyone else get the feeling that when Oregon lost a game, its win over MSU became less impressive? Arizona's upset at Oregon put a damper on that achievement, which could have easly been a Rose Bowl preview. |
