Ryan Leaf had a 45.3% completion percentage and a 39.0 passer rating in year 1 ---- 2 TDs & 15 Ints Bortles has a 63.5% completion percentage and a 68.3 passer rating -- 6 TDs and 12 ints The difference is that Bortles is solid and just needs to fix the picks (like bradshaw, favre, manning, etc).
