Plane crashes into building in Kansas
|
I'm not a certified pilot but I do have a degree in Aerospace Engineering and have flown with friends many times in their planes. Most of the time those small planes crash because the pilot fails to continue to fly the plane. They will glide without power if the pilot will just continue to fly the plane. My one friend was forced down 7 times from engine failure and the worst he suffered was a broken collar bone. Ironically enough, he was killed on his motorcycle while on the road to get an airplane part. Additionally, he was a helicopter gunner in Vietnam.
