A lot of people are thinking the SEC is having a down year (and I tend to agree) but the numbers dont lie.
Per Kirk Herbstreit, since 06 bowls vs Top 10 non conf opp, the SEC is 20-9. Pac 12 is 8-17, Big 12 4-11, Big East 2-10, ACC 5-29. I know people that dont root for teams in the SEC hate the national bias, but its true. At the end of the season, a 1 loss SEC team is probably better than most conference champions.
