He showed glimpses of being great following by boneheaded plays. I don't think that's surprising anyone. He'll be a good QB, but we must suffer this season. Everyone agreed they were juuuust fine with that a couple of months ago.

 

Believe it or not, both Carr and Bridgewater have better players around them on offense. James Jones, Cordarelle Patterson, Chase Ford (he has really stepped up in Rudolph's absence), offensive line play. They also aren't exactly playing at a high level. They're managing the game. Yes, Bortles' turnovers have been frustratingly stupid. You can't just point at other guys and use that as a reason to blast Bortles. They are different players in different offenses.
