Quote:I've seen you state this point before. The prior regime had [BAD WORD REMOVED] poor talent that did not suffice. What players were here before that would have made all the world of difference this year and turned this thing around? We would still be 1-8 with those guys. At least we are doing it with players with upside and building depth along the way.

Eugene Monroe, Pot Roast, Daryl Smith for starters.

I also question cutting guys like Dawan Landry, CJ Mosley because they have shown to be decent NFL caliber players.  Mosley was depth anyway, we still could have signed SenDerrick Marks as the starter.

They wouldn't have made the difference.  The roster they inherited was poor.  But why cut even the best guys from a poor roster?  Makes no sense to me.

ABOUT US
The Jungle Forums is the Jaguars' biggest fan message board. Talking about the Jags since 2006, the Jungle was the team-endorsed home of all things Jaguars.

Since 2017, the Jungle is now independent of the team but still run by the same crew. We are here to support and discuss all things Jaguars and all things Duval!
