No one cares what other qb's did or didnt do, we care about what ours is doing. 

 

That's not entirely fair, SD. The argument was even the best quarterbacks, playing right now...just this past weekend in fact, had 2-3 passes that by rights should have been interceptions but weren't for whatever reason. Translation: Every QB deals with these just like they deal with drops. Neither should factor heavily into the evaluation of a QB prospect. As I see it, it's creative interpretation of a phantom stat to justify an otherwise shaky argument in this case.

 

Does Blake need to play better? Of course he does. He has to improve, but to lambaste him for near-picks (as some have done) is somewhat disingenuous imo. You wanna fry him for his actual interception (which was awful regardless of how you look at it)? Go right ahead but to do so over what almost was is dicey.
