There is a much wider range of systems and personnel, so teams see things completely different on a week to week basis. Having a good, focused week of practice is a key factor in the preparation. I'm not saying it's the only or even most important factor, but it most definitely IS a factor. It's like you're forgetting that we are talking about 18-22 year old kids. You don't think they get lazier/careless when preparing for and playing FCS schools? Come on.... You ignored a point I made earlier. Do you think teams ever "play down" to their opponents? Why? Now use that same reasoning... Do you think teams ever "play up" to their opponents? Why? |
