Not EVERY situation is going to be different. If Alabama is beating Hofstra 21-0, the DE might hold up from hitting a QB after the ball is released. If Alabama is up 21-0 to Auburn, that QB is taking a lick. There are situations in every game where motivation / intensity is peaked. In rivalry games, those situations occur more in rivalry games because every time you line up you stare at someone you hate. This is college football 101, folks. |
