I like him, I think like Cain however he won't get to far. Not having ever held public office will be counted against him. However, it has begun, the campaign process for 2016 is here.

 

It's not so much that never holding public office will be counted against him, although that will occur, it's that never having ever run for public office means he has no campaign experience whatsoever.   He could flame out just like Herman Cain and for the same reasons: he's not ready for the scrutiny.  

 

My question about Ben Carson is, I know he's a neurosurgeon, and probably a brilliant guy, but has he ever managed anything?   Obviously he's never had to run a state or a city.   Has he ever managed a business?   It appears that one of the big failings of Barack Obama as President stemmed from his never having managed or run anything, so decision making and delegating was often chaotic.   As the person who would manage and run the United States of America, Ben Carson would be a real stab in the dark if he was elected, because no one has any idea if he has any talent for GOVERNING THE COUNTRY.  Because he's never governed anything. 

 

Seriously, would you take a person who has never coached at any level and make him an NFL head coach?   How big of a giant ego would a person have to have to make President of the United States their ENTRY LEVEL POLITICAL OFFICE? 

 

You know why these people run?   To sell books and to make a name for themselves so they can charge $50,000 speaking fees.
