The DEVGRU Operator who "Shot" Bin Laden Comes Forward

#23

Quote:Watch the movie Lone Survivor. True story. A few men got killed on the rescue mission to save the 4 SEALS.

If you haven't seen the film, do so. It'll hit ya hard. Did me anyway...but it'll give you a different perspective on how certain Afghan cultures treat guests. These in particular protected Luttrell, the last SEAL left. Even under Taliban threats, they wouldn't give him up. Why? He was their guest.

It's possible this same custom is why they wouldn't give up Bin Laden, making it understandable at least.

Very proud, resilient people.

I saw that movie was a great movie, but that's not what I was talking about. There was a helicopter crash I dunno maybe 2 years ago, something like 19 SEALS died, and I had read most of them where involved in the raid on Bin-Laden it was a real tragedy.
