Blackmon can apply for reinstatement

This is really a no-lose situation. If Blackmon comes back next year and he's as good as he was at his peak, it's a huge bonus for the Jags as he simply adds depth to a young WR corps.
If Blackmon fails again or he isn't the same player, the Jags cut him and move on. It's all really up to Blackmon. I think he comes back and has a solid career, but has to fight the demons the rest of his life. Reminds me just a bit of Jimmy Smith, one of my favorite Jags.. |
