 Or maybe he actually hired a GM who isn't lying when he says he wants to build through the draft.   Instead of cobbling together a bunch of free agents to maybe scrape out a wildcard birth for a team that will sharply decline in two years or less. 

 

He hired Caldwell and believes him when he says it's gonna take a while to fix it all.   Caldwell's philosophy makes great sense.  It remains to be seen whether or not he can make it work  -  and it sucks that we have to wait more than one season to find out. It really sucks.  But I think that's all that's taking place right now.  Not a relocation conspiracy or even a tanking for a draft position.  

 

The first phase isn't going perfectly - but it's just to early to know very much unfortunately.  I understand your reaction - as the frustration from losing leaves us all grasping for answers at times.
