They're certainly entitled to express their opinion, but it conveys the wrong message and does nothing to influence the team. If they really wanted to send a message, just stay home. That would make more of a statement the team would respond to. If they stay home then the national media will attack our empty seats. Personally, I'm glad some fans still have that passion of being upset about the season. At the next home game here, I plan on wearing bags. There is only so much drinking and cursing you can let out during a game before it becomes old.
Whether someone has a liberal, or conservative viewpoint, a authoritative figure should not lock a thread for the sole purpose to get the last word in all the while prohibiting someone else from being able to respond.
