Simple Yes or No....Is Bradley The Guy
|
Quote:I always love it when simpletons like you throw out the "excuses" label. The facts can not be argued with only opinions or how a person tries to use the facts in an arguement. The fact is Gus Bradley did not win a single game until week 10 of last season against the Titans. The team lost the following week to the Cardinals, and then swept the worst team the Texans & beat the Browns for four wins at a point in the season when none of those teams had much of a fight to win other than the sake of winning. Most of those wins were close games at that. The team had a bad roster. We as fans understood that, and realized it wouldnt all get fixed with one more draft. We did however expect to see improvement off of last seasons ending success. Instead we saw a lot of players regress which has to make you wonder about the coaching. This season the only win in week 7 was yet again against the Browns. (Thankfully we played them back to back seasons for the easy win). The Jaguars still have to play the texans twice and the titans once more so they could possibly repeat last years 4 wins. The Fact is Gus Bradley after almost two years as a head coach is currently .192% a winner, or he has less than a quater of a chance to win (23% of each game he coaches). That has to improve in his third year or he will most likely be terminated as a head coach. We have heard nothing but positive things about Gus Bradley as a person, and as a coach in the off season. The poor performance in the field may be a direct result of a young roster combined with a few veterans to fill in the blanks until another draft. Most analyst would say that the Jaguars are on the right track. That they drafted well, and seem to be coaching the players up. If going into next season we see the same result, then I think its time to panic but can we at least finish this season without reading all these fire Gus or Dave threads? |
