This doesn't just happen in sports though....its happens in entertainment, the work place, and many other community settings. People/institutions have to cover themselves now. My example....Bill Cosby has been accused by 6 women (last I heard) of doing bad things. NBC and Netflix have stopped their projects with him because they don't want to tarnish their brand. Can you blame them? Edit: I get your point and agree with it to a large extent...its just the way it is now. The Ray Rice thing has pretty much changed everything. |
